Transcendent Analysis- Introduction to its Theory and Practice

By Dr. Steve Guide

Transcendent Analysis is a new concept and theory about the entity called Human. It has evolved from and is revealed by the study and latest achievements of the sciences of Medicine, Psychiatry, Psychology, Philosophy, Theology and Methodology. It represents a central core in the emerging science, The Theory About Man.

According to the Transcendent Analytical Theory the human being is a multi-dimensional entity in structure and existence. Human potential, therefore, is multi-dimensional. His/her present historical dimension is only one of the possible entity states. History, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology and Psychiatry, Medicine, Philosophy, Theology and Methodology, all study different aspects of this entity in its past and present states. In addition, Medicine, Psychiatry, Psychology and Theology explore and treat parallel dimensions of this entity, which can reflect healthy (normal), pathological (abnormal), and extra-sensory (supernormal) states of existence.

Transcendent Analysis as the latest Theory About Man, defines these multiple parallel dimensions and tells us where we historically come from, what our present state is, and where we will go. As a methodology it is an effective tool for transcending our present inadequacies, one-dimensional limits and inner controversies, which altogether produce the vast array of minor to severe psychological, psycho-somatic, somatic and psycho-social disorders, and thus it can help us receive healing and prosperity from within.

Our goal is to prepare one to go beyond our present one-dimensional existence into the freedom of life as an entity in the image of God. Healing occurs when transcendence occurs. Transcendent Analysis is not a mode of therapy per se, but a methodology that is self-promoting, enhancing personality development, self-realization and actualization and triggering the natural healing processes from within and the individual's receptivity to them. It can be of immense therapeutic value, although it is not limited to such.

The central core of the Transcendent Analytical Theory is based on the ancient concept that Mind is over Matter. However, we believe that the term Mind is limited to only some aspects of the Man Entity. Therefore, our core concept can be defined as "Entity over Matter". This Entity of Man transcends what modern science presently knows about man. Currently, science cannot completely define how far the boundaries of this Man Entity will take us. We only know that Medicine has predominantly studied the physiological body structure of that entity, psychiatry and psychology have studied another aspect of it defined as "mind" and its relationships with the physiological. Theology has gone a step further to reach dimensions of that entity existing beyond the conscious mind, and Jungian Analysis has attempted to define how this "collective unconscious" relates to the conscious mind and the physiological body.

The problem with any limited disciplinary approach to such a complex entity, however, is that it sees the trees, but not the forest. The Human Entity is qualitatively more than the sum of its parts, i.e. the biological, psychological and other transcendent dimensions. This entity bears the "I am who I am" image of God, i.e. in this multi-dimensional oneness of being, God and Man are the father and son.

Although Transcendent Analysis deals with changes in the state of the Human Entity which trigger healing processes in all its dimensions, including mind and body, it has no affiliation with psychotherapy, psychoanalysis or medical treatment in their present definition. Traditional psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and medical treatment have shown some excellent and astonishing results in the treatment of mental and biological components of disease. However, they can be limited when treating certain disorders within the spectrum of pathology. Their limits are predetermined by the limits of the subject matters they address, the human mind and body, which are only two dimensions of the multi-dimensional Entity of Man.

Unlike the mentioned above disciplines, Transcendent Analysis is not limited to the study of the human mind and body. It does not utilize the conventional methods that these disciplines use. Therefore, it will not be classified as psychotherapy or psychoanalysis. It does not treat or analyze the psyche. It will not be classified as somatic medicine, either. It does not treat or assess the soma. It is a much broader method that transcends the area of the psyche and the soma. It goes beyond all current therapeutic practices.
Transcendent Analysis goes where science has never ventured until now. Its subject is Man as an Entity, encompassing oneness of multi-dimensional states of existence. Its methodology of Analysis focuses on where we came from, where we are at present, and where we will go. Its goal is to prepare one to transcend beyond the limits of our present one-dimensional existence into the freedom, joy and perfection of life as an entity in the Image of God. Healing occurs when transcendence occurs.
This is not an easy journey, but on every new level and dimension its techniques bring you to a higher state of being. The solutions to your deepest problems are in the dimensions ahead.
These are the dimensions of Transcendent Analysis...
