Here you can find lasting solutions for any of the following: eating
disorders, anorexia & bulimia, obesity, being overweight, overeating, nutrition
problems & dieting, fitness & weight maintenance, losing weight, or anything else
you wish to call your treatment requiring extra pounds of body weight...
If you think the above picture depicts an impossible transformation,
think again! Say "good-bye" to expensive health-food diets, endless spa and
sanatoriums, harmful side effects of drug-treatments, prospects of fortune-costing and
mutilating surgical procedures and shattered hopes of being your "Real Self"
again.
You have been patient long enough, and now it is time for the ultimate
change in you and the way you look. Have you ever thought why all these other programs
have failed you in the long run? Well, you are not alone. Thousands have felt betrayed.
The reason that so many so-called "weight-loss programs" have had only limited
success is very simple: They all share one thing in common, and that is... the fact that
regardless of their specific modes of action and techniques, they all "cut at the
branches" of the problem, and not "at the root".
Although positive, their long term effectiveness is very limited.
"The branches" of the problem easily shoot out from the "root" of the
problem again. This accounts for the high rate of "recidivism" or regaining of
the weight initially lost.
Take for example Dieting. No one can argue about its overall positive
impact. It follows the sound logic: eat less in calories, gain less in pounds. From it
should follow that in the final balance you lose weight, right? WRONG! NOT NECESSARILY SO.
How come? People tend to forget that their body is smarter than they
think. It is a complex self-regulatory system. It possesses sophisticated and precise
mechanisms for changing the basic metabolic rate to match "what comes in" with
"what goes out". This explains why so many good people did not lose weight in
the long run despite rigorous diets. This also explains why a person with thyrotoxicosis
never becomes obese, regardless of how much they eat, and vice versa, a person suffering
from hypofunction of the thyroid, can never lose too much weight, unless other disorders
are added to compound the clinical picture.
The difference nutrition-wise between those two disorders at the
opposite ends of the spectrum, is in their Basic Metabolic Rate, which in turn is
regulated by complex hormonal and neural control. It becomes obvious, that it is not
necessarily how much you eat, but how much you burn, and how effectively your body
maintains the balance. What is it then that "sets and resets" this inner
"body thermostat" that maintains the body weight balance and in the end shapes
up your body?
What makes your SMART BODY select to maintain this or that BODY IMAGE
and regulate its metabolic balance to keep it?
